Latin American Jesuit Affiliated Universities and the Inter American Human Rights Institute have joined forces to offer a continental higher education course in human rights.  The Jesuits have set up an innovative human rights degree with a first mention in Access to Justice.

According to a press release, the objective is to stimulate sensibility among and to train professionals in the field.

The degree course itself will follow established teaching lines in distance learning, which will be imparted simultaneously in five Jesuit affiliated universities throughout Latin America.

In Venezuela the Andres Bello Catholic University Human Rights Center will administer the course. Enrollments are open from April 24-May 2.
