Explosion at Spanish and Colombian missions in Venezuela

There were no immediate reports of injuries and it was not clear what had caused the explosions. However, the incident comes soon after a scathing television attack by President Hugo Chavez on both Spain and Colombia, accusing them of interference after Venezuelan police arrested a prominent strike leader who had been campaining to have Mr. Chavez removed from office.
