Abuse of Power - Secret Chavez-Saddam oil scheme

Saddam Hussein uses Chavez to break the U.N. resolution, in violation of international agreements.

Iraqi oil is being refined in PDVSA's facilities in the Dutch Antilles (specifically, Refinaria Isla in Curaçao) to be sold in the international markets as Venezuelan. This puts Chavez in a very compromised position with the United Nations, violating its "Oil For Food" program.

This revenue - rather than being funneled trough the UN, as Iraq is under an obligation to - have being deposited in secret offshore accounts controlled personally by Saddam Hussein's inner circle.

The final destination and use of this money has yet to be established.
